About the Hymn
Cecil Frances Alexander (1818–1895) wrote “All Things Bright And Beautiful” for her collection *Hymns for Little Children* (1848). In this edition it is set to William Henry Monk’s tune ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL, a graceful melody that helps the short stanzas flow with clarity and warmth.
